Coming up on November 19th is the PTO Carnival. Doors open at 6 and close promptly at 9PM. We will have a multitude of games and prizes available for all. Here are some of the main “events” of carnival:
Door Prizes: Show up and place a ticket in the door prizes container and have the opportunity to win various prizes! One of our grand prizes this year will be a $250 gift certificate to Games Galore’s Party Room.
Inflatables: We have the millenium and the bounce and slide from Games Galore
Silent Auction: Lots of baskets this year will be available on auction. Please come and bid!
Games: We will have various games staffed by volunteers. Imagine the fishing game and bowling and many other types of fun games.
Twisty Balloons: some will be on staff to twist up balloons into fun shapes!
- Sean was not hurt on this throw, but the orange ball did some damage from Mason.
Lots of action and lots of fun at this year’s Nugget Night Out. We had 2 large inflatables rented for the evening. The obstacle course was pretty cool, and the Scooby jump thing worked out just fine. Other activities were: DJ Dancing, dodgeball, volleyball, nickel roll, bingo, pizza, pop, and all sorts of other things. Setup and Cleanup went easily, and we benefited from the volunteer time from the High School Close Up club. Many parents pitched in that the night went off without a hitch! We’d like to thank all who helped out!
This year we had a great turnout at the PTO Carnival. Lots of parent volunteers, volunteers from the High School, and elementary volunteers made the entire event a fabulous success. Along with the games and the humungous inflatables, there was major action for the parents in the Silent Auction. Each class in Hawley Elementary created a basket that was filled with goodies, including many items donated by local businesses and gift certificates.

We are an organization of ALL of the parents and guardians of Hawley Elementary students. We’re proud of our school, and we work to support the school through fundraising and dispersal of funds into the school either through physical equipment and even curricular activities.
